"MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE" SENIOR ALERT
The Mount Vernon Lions Club recently launched its "Message in a Bottle" campaign in our area. The project provides important health information to emergency personnel who assist unresponsive senior citizens or shut-ins in their homes. Club members have been speaking to senior groups and distributing bottles over the past few months. Many thanks to the Knox Community Hospital for enthusiastically and financially supporting this important community project.
